Natural Stone, Built to Last
So much of Ireland's character is built in stone — the boundary walls along the lanes, the old bridges and the farmhouses. Done properly, stonework outlives the people who built it. Done badly, it cracks, bulges and lets in water within a few winters.
We work with natural stone the traditional way: repointing and rebuilding period walls in lime mortar, restoring stone entrances, laying natural stone cladding, and building new walls by hand. On restoration work we match the stone, the bond and the mortar so the repair looks like it has always been part of the wall — not a patch.
