One contractor, start to finish — what that actually means
The difference between a build that runs smoothly and one that drags on is rarely the bricklaying — it's the coordination. When you hire us as your contractor, you get one point of contact and one team responsible for the whole job, instead of chasing a separate groundworker, blocklayer, roofer and finisher and hoping they turn up in the right order.
We start by setting out the job and the programme — what happens, in what order, and roughly when — so you can see the path from foundations to handover. Then we run it: groundworks and foundations, the blockwork and brickwork shell, roofing, first and second fix, plastering and the external finish, with the trades sequenced so no one's standing on anyone else and the site keeps moving.
Done to standard, and covered. We build to the engineer's details and Building Control requirements, keep the site tidy and safe, and carry full public and employers' liability insurance on every job. You get honest, itemised pricing up front and straight answers throughout — no disappearing for a fortnight, no surprise extras dropped at the end.
New builds, extensions, full restorations and renovations — we self-deliver the groundworks, block, brick and stone in-house and bring in trusted trades for the rest, all under one roof. Both. We're best known for stonework and heritage restoration, but we're a full building contractor — new builds, extensions, renovations, groundworks, structural repairs, bricklaying and blockwork. We take a job from the foundations right through to the finish, with one team you deal with the whole way.
Do you do extensions and renovations?
Yes. We build house extensions and carry out full renovations and refurbishments — structural work, blockwork, brickwork, stonework, roofing and finishing. Because it's our own team, the standard stays the same from start to finish.
Are you fully insured?
Yes — €6.5m public liability and €13m employers' liability cover, so you're protected on every job, big or small.
How big a project will you take on?
Anything from a garden wall to a €1.2 million heritage contract. We've delivered the conservation of Grange Castle in Dublin and a €500k limestone estate entrance, as well as everyday extensions, driveways and repairs — the same care goes into all of it.
