Stone wall repair, lime-mortar repointing and new stonework in Celbridge. We cover the town and the demesne walls around Castletown, with free site visits.
Celbridge has a strong stone heritage tied to Castletown House, Ireland's largest Georgian house, and the long demesne and estate walls that run through the area along the Liffey. Those old boundary walls were built with lime mortar and traditional stone, and they need the same approach when they're repaired rather than patched with modern cement.
At the same time, Celbridge has grown a lot as a commuter town, so there's plenty of newer housing wanting stone entrances, pillars and cladding. We work across both: careful repointing and rebuilding on period walls, and clean new stonework on recently built homes. Based in Navan, fully insured, and we'll call out for a free site visit before quoting.

Alan Bow · Google review"I would like to thank this firm for the stonework on a large project. Both the work and the employees were of the highest quality and did more than expected of them. I would highly recommend this company."
Kimmage Hardware · Google reviewYes, that's a big part of what we do. Long period boundary walls around Celbridge often have loose stone and failed mortar after years of weather. We rebuild dropped sections, repoint with lime mortar and match the existing stone.
We do. A lot of newer Celbridge homes want a proper stone entrance with pillars and a matching wall. We build these in natural stone to suit the house and the road.
It depends on the length and condition of the wall. A typical domestic boundary wall might take a few days; a long demesne-style wall takes longer. Lime mortar also needs time to cure and shouldn't be rushed.
